September has been a transitional month for me this year. A new school year has started which means I have more time to get out and experiment with my photography.
Don’t get me wrong, I’ve enjoyed the summer holidays, capturing those magic moments, photographing my family but time always goes back so quickly. My two boys are now 8 and 6…
So, what I meant by transition is that during the summer and especially last month I have been shooting more and more with iPhone and processing with Snapseed. The weight and practicality of my DSLR is becoming a serious issue as I’m less and less worried about pixels and more and more concentrated on seeing the light and stories. iPhone is a great camera to use on streets. Of course it has it’s downsides, so have others… At the moment I’m quite happy using the iphone and Panasonic Lumix at times. I feel it’s the beginning of the end for my Canon 650D.
Sorry about all that gear talk, just an update. Without further ado, here are my personal September favourites:

Thank you for visiting, till very soon!
and again – beautiful colors and fantastic moments
actually i almost completely stopped to use my smartphone camera. i miss all the DSLR features there and mostly – manually configured exposure plus selective focus. more and more use film cameras to document what is going around.
Thanks for looking Victor. Im not going to abandon manual settings but i think a compact Fuji X camera is calling me…
I always enjoy your work, Yuri. I especially appreciate the way you frame images and your use of color. I bought a used Fuji 100xs last year and love it.
Thank you for the kind words Gina. It means a lot. Fuji might be my next birthday presie… fingers crossed 🙂
